New Classes, Public and Private!

The Art Center is pleased to present upcoming classes and events for this fall, including our latest feature: Private classes for parties of six or more! Planning a getaway with a few friends, a relaxing weekend in the north woods, or a special birthday party or celebration? Why not call to find out more about our private classes; choose from decoys, drums, moccasins or dreamcatchers! With this option, you may tailor a class to your schedule, specialize a class to meet specific needs and enjoy more personalized attention from one of our experienced master artists. This fall's classes are being updated on the calender, so check back frequently to see the latest updates for the season! Offerings will include: moccasin-making, decoy-carving, drum-making, poetry workshops and much more!

 

 

 

 

 

We regret that birchbark baskets, one of our most popular classes this year, will not be offered this fall due to the limited quanitities of natural materials. When birch bark is back in season next spring, we will once again offer both public and private birch bark basket classes with Master Artist Sandy Peterson!
