The Woodland Indian Art Center

Boozhoo, Posoh, Hello. Welcome to The Woodland Indian Art Center located in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin.

The Woodland Indian Art Center is home to a Native art gallery featuring artwork from Native American artists from across the Woodland region. Traditional and contemporary artwork including beaded moccasins, fish decoy carvings, birch bark baskets, jewelry, paintings, prints, photography, Native flute CD’s, and more are for sale. We invite everyone to visit the gallery and discover a unique work of art to purchase as a gift or for you!

The Art Center, adjacent to the gallery space offers classes, workshops, demonstrations, and a full range of Native artistic programming. Classes in beading and moccasin making, fish decoy carving, birch bark basket making, and more are offered year round. All levels of classes are available. If your group has a special interest in Native art we will customize classes with qualified instructors to meet your requirements.

The Art Center is multidisciplinary and works with musicians, writers, dancers, and other contemporary Native Artists. The Art Center also assists Native artists with entrepreneurial skill development, leadership training, financial literacy, technical assistance, mentoring, e-commerce, sales and marketing, and networking.
